All municipalities in the province must have an alert system to disseminate information to residents about emergency situations or disasters affecting the municipality.
The Municipality of Sheenboro shares an alert system with the municipalities of Allumettes Island and Chichester. Alerts can be made jointly or in a targeted manner for each municipality. The system operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Telmatik was chosen to offer this service.
In order to benefit from this free service, you must register and choose how you want to receive the alert messages. You can choose only one way to receive messages, several or all ways. Messages are available in French or English. Once registered, you will be able to receive automated messages informing you of ongoing emergencies.
How to register
You can register directly online and fill in the form by clicking on the following link. All data received will remain confidential and will only be used for the purposes of using the alert system.
We encourage our residents to prepare their own Emergency Plan. Please visit this WEB page to get more information on how to create your plan.
